I chose the name Doricpride as Doric is our Dialect and my accent is quite strong, pride is although we don't have a pride of Leonbergers yet, we are proud of the two we do have. We live in the glorious Aberdeenshire countryside.  My love of this breed started about 6 years ago when I met a woman with 2 Leonbergers, at this time we had an old GSD called Sabre.  I vowed that one day I would own one of these magnificent dogs and four years later we became the proud owners of Elsa, a lovable girl who loves nothing more than laying her head on your knee having you stroking her head.  As most Leo owners will tell you one is never enough, so one year later along came our boy Denzel, now what can I say about our boy, he is such a mischievous fellow, who loves life he thinks the world has been put here solely for him.   Both our dogs are a delight and I am privileged to share my life with them.   I set-up this website so that you could meet the Leonbergers we are so proud of.
